The City of Vancouver is located on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Indigenous communities have lived here since time immemorial and have a long-established history of settlement, stewardship of the land, harvesting of resources, and community collaboration.
